Maintain databases of logistics information.
Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as availability, sustainability, reliability and strategic sourcing of all products and services provided by company.
Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities for imports, product sourcing (including company buyback program), refurbishing and distribution.
Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, compliance matrices, cost estimating or demand forecasting.
Direct team activities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, and ensuring the availability of resources.
Confer with management to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain efficiency, and minimize cost.
Stay informed of technology advances and apply appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes.
Must have previous experience in Inventory Management/Supply Chain operations.
Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
Proficient with Excel/MS PowerPoint
Aptitude for detailed logical analysis and problem solving
Ability to effectively interpret data requests and provide direction to user groups
Critical thinking and the ability to see business implications of strategic initiatives
High level of decisiveness, initiative, and attention to detail
Self-starter who is not afraid to get out into the field to clearly understand field issues, is able to quickly find creative solutions for existing problems
Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/Operations or equivalent experience required
